All City Coffee

For this review we both visited All City Coffee in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.

So the details:
www.allcitycoffee.com
All City Coffee is located at 1205 South Vale Street. In the downtown district of Georgetown.

The place is very hip. Retro furniture provides seating for its many patrons. Lots of friends stroll in for a cup of coffee. Some with friends and others to enjoy some peace while reading the paper. Paintings of a few nude ladies are hanging on the wall to add to the decor. A guitar is available for playing if you are feeling musical! Dogs are welcomed and even allowed to sit on the couch.

As for the coffee: All City brews its own brand of coffee. Jasmine ordered a Macchiato. While I slurped my classic favorite drink a White Chocolate Mocha.

The Macchiato was not as "woody" as compared to Satellite's Coffee Companies version. It was mainly robust, tart and "purely coffee tasting". The Macchiato was in need of some sugar. (Pure Cane Sugar is available at the counter)

My White Chocolate Mocha was not as sweet as it is from Starbucks or Tully's. Though, I was very tired and the strong taste of the coffee worked well with the sweet syrup much to my enjoyment. I felt more awake.

The coffee was a typical price. The Macchiato was $2.70 and the White Chocolate Mocha was $3.10 (give or take a few cents).

After effects:

The coffee gave us a little afternoon pick me up. We weren't experiencing an intense buzz, but more of a soothing one.

Overall:
Atmosphere: 3/5 (More adult orientated, slightly crowded with chairs, could be cozier)
Coffee: 4.5/5 (Not the best White Chocolate Mocha but the Macchiato was the best so far!)
